Joanne imagined and established JoJo Coco in 2012 with her deep love of chocolate and the desire to bring the very best to Ottawa. First she opened her Kanata shop and now her chocolate collections come directly to you (and those you elect to receive these exceptional, chocolate choices).
She stands proud behind the phenomenal local and Canadian chocolate makers, as well as bringing in the best bars from around the world. The result is an astonishing range of bean-to-bar chocolate with so many International award-winners.
As well as appreciating the artistry of the chocolate maker, Joanne deeply values her growing community of serious chocolate aficionados here in the capitol region. She loves to bring people together to relish chocolate’s genuine and divine flavours. For pairing chocolate events, Joanne says that actually: ‘chocolate pairs with everything’!

Joanne curates Bean to Bar Chocolate from extraordinary and award-winning chocolate makers. Locally, across Canada, and around the world.
'Bean to Bar' is about people and their skills in the traditional chocolate process. Those who work the land and harvest the cocoa beans. Those who carefully craft the chocolate through a traditional process and reveal each inherent and distinctive flavour profile.
The character and joy in each single bar relies on the origins of the bean and the artistry of the maker. Neither can be faked, nor mass produced.
